Wardrobe & Clothing Data

When you use the app, we collect:

• Photos of clothing items you upload
• Clothing categories you assign (tops, bottoms, shoes, etc.)
• Processed images with backgrounds removed
• Generated outfit combinations
• Saved outfits and outfit history

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Number of wardrobe uploads and outfit generations
• Subscription tier and usage limits
• App usage patterns and session data

Community & Social Data

If you use community features, we collect:

• Profile information you choose to share (display name, bio, profile photo)
• Outfits you choose to post to the community feed
• Captions and content you create
• Follow and follower relationships

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Veyla app and its features
• Process and remove backgrounds from your clothing photos
• Generate outfit suggestions from your wardrobe
• Manage your account, subscription, and usage limits
• Display your content in community features (only if you choose to share)
• Send push notifications and styling reminders (if you opt in)
• Improve the app and develop new features
• Respond to customer support requests

3. Third-Party Services

Veyla uses the following third-party services to operate the app:

Supabase

We use Supabase to store your account data, clothing photos, and app data securely. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Replicate

Your clothing photos are processed through Replicate's infrastructure to remove backgrounds. Images are transmitted solely for this purpose and are not retained by Replicate beyond processing. Their privacy policy is available at replicate.com/privacy.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat may collect purchase history and subscription status. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may share limited account information with us. All App Store purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/privacy.

Cloudflare

Your wardrobe images are stored on Cloudflare R2 secure cloud infrastructure. Images are not publicly accessible unless you explicitly share them to the community feed.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Your clothing photos are stored in secure cloud storage and are not publicly accessible unless you explicitly share them to the community feed.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@veylaapp.com.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:

• With the service providers listed above solely to operate the app
• If required by law, legal process, or government request
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Veyla, our users, or the public

Community content you choose to post publicly (outfits, captions, profile information) is visible to other Veyla users within the app.

6. Your Choices & Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings
• Choose not to participate in community features

7. Children's Privacy

Veyla is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@veylaapp.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
